It was an even weekend for Helena and Gillette, with the Bighorns taking the win Friday, and Gillette leaving with a win on Saturday.
Friday’s game ended in an 8-1 victory for the Bighorns. Goals were scored by Ty Schell (Cameron Kimmerly, Cal Kellenberg), Caden Feinstein (Kade Pareja), Jeffrey Hershberger (Caden Feinstein), Cal Kellenberg (Cameron Kimmerly, Braden Davis), Cal Kellenberg (Cameron Kimmerly), Blake Chapman (Jeffrey Hershberger), Cal Kellenberg (Braden Davis, Caden Feinstein), and Casey Barriteau (Clint Isakson, Lincoln Kearney).
Saturday’s game was a closer match between the two teams, but Gillette ultimately took home a 3-2 win. Helena’s two goals were scored by Caden Feinstein (Braden Davis, Cal Kellenberg), and Chase Berg (Kade Pareja).
Helena will head to Great Falls next for a Friday night game on November 28th, then to Bozeman on Saturday, November 29th.
