The Helena Bighorns traveled to Billings Friday night to face the Bulls in the first of three road games over the course of the weekend. The Bulls took the lead first, earning the only goal of the first period. Bighorns forward Trevor Tracy tired the score eighty seconds into the second period. Billings answered with a goal of their own a few minutes later to retake the lead. The Bighorns weren’t far behind, once again tying the score with a power play goal from Levi Blom. The bighorns took off from there, scoring two more goals that period to take a 4-2 lead.

Helena’s other Blom brother, Cody, struck first in the third period. His goal was quickly followed by three more Bighorns goals to give the team a comfortable 8-2 lead. The Bulls were able to come up with two more goals to close the Bighorns’ lead to four goals. Helena’s Danny Fazio came up with the final goal of the evening to help the Bighorns win the game 9-4.
