“Malik has all of the intangibles that an athlete has to have to succeed in sports. His work ethic is outstanding, he competes every day regardless if it’s a practice or a game and he competes in every situation. Off the ice, he puts in the work to get better everyday and on the ice, Malik is athletic and makes the saves he is supposed to and finds ways to stop pucks. When you mix in athleticism and strong fundamentals, you have a really good goalie and that’s exactly what Malik is. The Bighorns are really excited for Malik’s future and more importantly we are excited to add a great person in Malik Johnson.”
