After winning by a goal Friday on night against the Badlands Sabres, the Bighorns lost by a goal in overtime shootout to the Sabres in Saturday night’s game.
Finn Theriault was the only goal scorer for Helena, getting that goal with less that 1 minute left in the game, bringing it to overtime. Goaltender Malik Johnson was able to stop 28 out of the 29 shots on his net, as well as multiple shots during the shootout.
The Bighorns will head to Great Falls to take on the Americans Friday, January 10th, and will welcome the Bozeman Icedogs at home on Saturday, January 11th.
