HELENA WINS FRONTIER DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP THIRD YEAR IN A ROW

The Helena Bighorns have become the 2023-2024 Frontier Division Champions, after beating out the Gillette Wild in a 6-2 game last night in Helena.  This will make it Helena’s third championship win in a row.

The six goals scored by Helena were credited to Tim Mattingly (Finn Theriault, Dylan Cunnigham), Tim Mattingly (Patrick Crooks, Joe Feamster), Garrett Bogan (Jason Hammett), Cai Robinson (Patrick Crooks, Jack Lambert), Camden Cunningham (Mason Eggen, Hunter Coulombe), and Ty Moore (Owen Ramsay, Owen Gruener).  Bighorn’s goaltender Jesse Schindel was unstoppable in net, only letting in two of the 33 shots against him.

The Bighorns will celebrate Saturday night with a fan appreciation night at Steed Arena, from 7pm-9pm.  There will be skating with the Bighorns, music, and giveaways.  Concessions and bar will be open for food and drink purchases, admission is free.

The Bighorns will hit the road Sunday morning to St. Louis for the Faser Cup Finals.   Games will start Wednesday, March 20th through Sunday, March 24th.  You can watch all games live at Buffalo Wild Wings, schedule to be announced soon!
