Helena started the weekend off right, with a Friday night 7-2 victory over the Bozeman Icedogs. Goals for Helena were scored by Caden Feinstein (Kade Pareja, Austin Tyler), Caden Feinstein (Cameron Kimmerly, Austin Tyler), Chase Berg (Garrett Lindsey, Ty Schell), Austin Uecker (Kade Pareja, Chase Berg), Austin Tyler (Caden Feinstein), Mason Blair (Clint Isakson), and Chase Berg (Ty Schell, Kade Pareja). In net was John Nanos, who stopped 12 of the 14 shots on goal.
