Helena spent last weekend on the road, but that didn’t stop their winning streak.  Their wins against the Great Falls Americans and the Bozeman Icedogs have now brought them to 16 points, making them the top in the Frontier Division league.

Friday night against the Great Falls Americans ended in a 5-0 win for the Bighorns, and another shutout for Helena native Gabe Swanson.  Goals for Helena were scored by Derek Rassell (Jack Walters), Andrew Deskin (TJ Norris, Owen Ramsay), Lyndon Orr (Garrett Bogan), Harlan Wojtusik (Darby McCarthy, Lyndon Orr), and Camden Cunningham (Edvin Astrom, Tyler Bloom).

Saturday night’s game was a 6-1 for the Bighorns against the Icedogs.  Goals for Helena were scored by Owen Ramsay (Camden Cunningham, Braden Cunningham), Harlan Wojtusik (Lyndon Orr, Gavyn Lund), TJ Norris (Andrew Deskin, Logan Powers), Camden Cunningham (Tyler Bloom, Braden Cunningham), Lyndon Orr (Gavyn Lund, Darby McCarthy), and Andrew Deskin (TJ Norris, Harlan Wojtusik).  Gabe Swanson stood in net again for the Bighorns, saving 13 out of the 14 shots against him.

Helena hits the road again this weekend, playing Bozeman in back-to-back games both Friday and Saturday night.  Their next home games are Friday, October 14th and Saturday, October 15th, facing the Badlands Sabres.  Tickets are available here online under “tickets” or at Play It Again Sports-Helena.
