HELENA ENDS THE WEEKEND WITH TWO WINS AGAINST YELLOWSTONE, MAKING THEM THE ONLY UNDEFEATED TEAM IN THE FRONTIER DIVISION

The Quake was no match for the Bighorns this past weekend, giving Helena two more wins and bragging rights for now being the only undefeated team in the Frontier Division.

Friday’s game had Helena goalie Alex Lamont celebrating another shutout, with a total of 4 saves the entire game.  The Bighorns had 86 shots on Yellowstone, with 9 of those goals going into the net.  Tim Mattingly took credit for two of the goals, the remaining 7 goals were divided between Finn Theriault, Owen Ramsay, Gavin Barr, Dylan Cunningham, Camden Cunningham, Ty Moore, and Jack Lambert.

Saturday’s game ended in a 9-1 win for Helena, with 67 shots on the Quake’s net.  Helena goalie Malik Johnson saved 18 of the 19 shots on him in net.  Trey Pajera got his first hattrick of the season, Garrett Bogan and Camden Cunningham each scored two goals, and the remaining goals were scored by Elijah Elmer and Ty Moore.

The Bighorns will head to Bozeman this Friday to take on the Icedogs for the first time this season.  They will welcome the Icedogs on home ice on Saturday at Steed Arena.  Tickets for Saturday’s game can be purchased at Play It Again Sports- Helena, or online at Tickets for Helena Bighorns vs Bozeman Icedogs | vivenu
