Coming off a hard loss the night before against the Gillette Wild, the Bighorns rolled into Bozeman looking for a win. The Bighorns took the lead early in the first period with a goal from Cody Blom. Six minutes later Bozeman scored on the power play to tie the score 1-1. Helena’s Trevor Tracy gave the Bighorns a one goal lead with just forty seconds left in the period.

The second period saw a lot of back and forth as the two teams searched for the net. Helena’s Balazs Goz finally found the net with a power play goal sixteen minutes later. Goz’s goal was the last goal of the period and the last goal of the game as neither team scored in the third period.

The Bighorns will be on the road next week but will be back at home on February 17th and 18th for a two game homestand. The Bighorns will be hosting the Billings Bulls on Friday, February 17th for Ladies' Night and the Bozeman Icedogs on Saturday, February 18th for Billy's Birthday.
