The Bighorns had a lot to cheer about in Great Falls Friday night in their 9-1 victory.

An undefeated Bighorns  team was on the road playing a win-less Americans squad at the Great Falls Iceplex.  With three first period goals Helena jumped to an early lead and never looked back. Powerplay goals by Beau Ricketts and Michael Sullivan helped propel the Bighorns to the fast start.  Ricketts also scored another goal in the opening period.

The second period saw Rickets and Bryan Fiol score while Donovan Mattfeldt of Great Falls notched the Americans lone goal of the game. The Bighorns unleashed four goals on seven shots in the third period where Fiol (two ), Alex Dewitz, and Skillicorn all aided in the Bighorns win.

Both Ricketts and Fiol completed one of hockey's rarest feat's, the hat trick.  Fiol finished with a game leading six points (three goals, three assists) and Ricketts with five points (three goals, two assists).

Helena plays at home Saturday evening hosting the Missoula Maulers.  Puck drop is at 7:35 PM and fans are encouraged to arrive twenty minutes early for pregame festivities.
