The Bighorns pulled out a win in their first game of the NA3HL Showcase against the Wausau Cyclones. Trey Pareja had Helena’s first goal, assisted by Caden Feinstein and Kade Pareja, and Jason Hammett got the second Bighorn’s goal, assisted by Chase Berg. Branson Appelman, Helena’s newest goaltender, had a solid game, letting only one goal slip by him, and saving 22 shots from Wausau.
Helena will face the Granite City Lumberjacks on Tuesday, December 15th for their second game of the showcase. The puck drops at 5:15pm MST, watch it live at Buffalo Wild Wings in Helena, or on NAHLTV.
