As a high school junior, Fazio was the top point scorer for the Mountain Ridge High School Mountain Lions where he led the team with 29 points for the season (17G, 12A). Danny began his career in junior hockey with the Arizona Red Hawks during the 2010-11 season. After playing 42 games over the course of the season, Fazio had 16 goals and 16 points for a total of 32 points. He started the 2011-12 season with the Red Hawks where he played eight games (1G, 8A) before being traded to the New Mexico Mustangs of the North American Hockey League.

Fazio only played four games with the Mustangs. In this time, his team lost all four games and Fazio was unable to earn any more points. Shortly after the Mustangs released Fazio, he was recruited to the play with the Bighorns. The Bighorns expect Fazio to be a strong addition to the team’s offense and look forward to this weekend’s game as his debut with the Bighorns.

The Bighorns are on the road the next couple of weeks. They play in Missoula on Friday and in Billings on Saturday. Fans who wish to watch the game can do so on AWHL TV. The Bighorns will be back at home on January 20th and 21st in a two-game home stand against the Gillette Wild and Great Falls Americans.
