Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana Headlines this Saturday's Game vs the Americans

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Montana is the title sponsor of Rivalry Night versus the Great Falls Americans on Saturday, January 17th, 2015 at the Helena Ice Arena beginning at 7:05pm.

We will be holding a silent auction for our third color, “alternate” jerseys during the first two periods of this game; the jerseys were designed and sponsored by the BC&BS of MT, and proceeds from this auction go to support a local charity.

Next on the agenda for the game is the official launch of our new raffle ticket promotion. Fans will have a chance to win a grand prize of a 2 day/2night Deluxe Fly-in Alaska Fishing Lodge Package to Wilderness Place Lodge; 2nd place wins a sizable cash prize, pooled from the total ticket sales; 3rd place is a gift certificate to a Helena-area restaurant; and 4th place is a 4-pack of Souvenir Tickets to any remaining Bighorns hockey games. These tickets are available for sale at every home game, and portions of the total sales benefits the First Christian Church. Tickets are $20 and include admission to February 21st’s game vs. the Great Falls Americans, where the prizes will be drawn for that night!

January is National Skating Month, and the local chapter of US Figure Skating, the Helena Figure Skating Club, has put together a short intermission skating show in celebration of the event. This show features local skaters, taught by local professional coaches and looks to increase the awareness of skating among the community. This show can be seen during the first intermission of Saturday Night’s game.

Helena Motors have been a large supporter of Bighorns Hockey this season, and will feature the new 2015 Toyota Tundra during the second intermission, complete with free promotional items and more fan engagement!

The Bighorns are hosting a Marketing Networking Event in partnership with ServPro of Great Falls and Helena in the Coors Light Party Corner. All business owners, marketers and other folks who do business in the greater Lewis & Clark County area are invited to the game free of charge. The idea is for folks to get tighter and exchange ideas, contacts and improve the way we do business here in Helena. For a free ticket, email; space is limited!

With so much going on during the rivalry game itself, you don’t have to be a die-hard hockey fan to enjoy this night! Our Quest for 1000 Fans in the Stands continues!
