Bland and Feamster make NA3HL Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week

The North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL) today announced the Divisional Stars of the Week presented by Bauer Hockey for the week ending January 2, 2022. The Divisional Stars of the Week is an award given each week of the regular season to the top performing players in each of the five divisions of the NA3HL as nominated by their head coaches. There were no games played in the South and East Divisions.

 

Central Division Star of the Week: Gage Vierzba, Forward, Wausau Cyclones

Cyclones forward, Gage Vierzba, recorded two points in each of the two games he played in over the week. In a high scoring affair against the Oregon Tradesmen, Vierzba added a goal and assist in that contest. The next night, the St. Charles, MO native scored twice helping the Cyclones to a 5-1 victory over the Tradesmen. This season, Vierzba has appeared in 29 games totalling 28 points for a 0.97 PT/G average with 15 goals and 13 assists.

East Division: No Games
Frontier Division Star of the Week: Liam Bland, Forward, Helena BigHorns

Helena Forward, Liam Bland, added six points in two games against the Badlands Sabres. In a 6-3 victory for the Bighorns, Bland netted two goals. In the second game against the Sabres, the Colorado Springs, CO native recorded four points with two goals and two assists in a 7-3 final. Bland has played in 27 games this season and has totaled 39 points with 21 goals and 18 assists.

West Division Star of the Week: Cullen Hogan, Forward, Mason City Toros

Mason City Toros forward, Cullen Hogan, helped his team in a sweep over the Alexandria Blizzard. Hogan added 3 points in the first game with one regulation goal and assist, while adding the game-winning goal in OT for a 4-3 final. In another 4-3 victory for Mason City, the Dallas, TX native added an assist. Hogan has appeared in 31 games this season totalling 26 points with 16 goals and 10 assists.
