The Bighorns took the win with a 10-3 defeat over the Bozeman Icedogs on Friday night.
The Helena Ice Arena had an attendance of over 1,100 people, and Eric Buchholz stood strong in net with 25 saves out of the 28 shots.
Goals by the Bighorns were scored by Sam Feamster (Tylor Greene), Liam Bland (Tylor Greene), Taber Gutschick (Andrew MacCallum), Liam Bland (Tylor Greene), Liam Bland for a third time getting him he only hat trick of the night (Sam Feamster, Jonny Peterson), Branwen Pollett (Erik Giboney, Corbin Skinner), Harlan Wojtusik (TJ Norris), Tylor Greene (Taber Gutschick, Jonny Peterson), Adam Harvey (TJ Norris), and Corbin Skinner (Adam Harvey, Sam Feamster).
The Bighorns head to Gillette this upcoming weekend to face the Gillette Wild in back to back games. Their next home games are January 21st and 22nd against the Butte Cobras and Bozeman Icedogs. Tickets are available online, at Play It Again Sports, or at the door. Doors open at 6:00pm, pucks drops at 7:05pm
