The Helena Bighorns and the Oregon Tradesmen went head-to-head in a close-knit game last night during the Fraser Cup Finals.  The third period ended in a 3-3 tie, going into an unsuccessful overtime for both teams, and bringing it to a shootout.  With eight shots between each team in the shootout, the Bighorns won the game, with shots in net for Tyler Bloom and Ty Moore, and seven saves for goalie Keaton French.

Helena had no goals in the first period, two in the second, scored by Tyler Alldredge (unassisted), and Camden Cunningham (Lyndon Orr, Mason Eggen), and one in the third, scored by Luc Corbin (Andrew Deskin, Tyler Alldredge).   Keaton French stopped 20 of the 23 shots on him in net.

The Bighorns will rest Thursday before facing the Northeast Generals on Friday.  The puck drops at 6:00pm MST and will be aired live at Buffalo Wild Wings- Helena.
