It was a Wednesday game and the night before Thanksgiving, but the Helena Ice Arena still held a crowd of 1300 fans, eagerly anticipating a win for Helena. The game ended in their favor, with Helena getting a 3-0 victory over Great Falls, and new goalie Marek Andres getting his first shutout as a Bighorn. Goals for Helena were scored by Tyler Bloom (Thomas Hollon, Joe Feamster), Zach Turner (Dylan Cunningham, Cade Holland), and Tyler Bloom (Tyler Alldredge).
Helena heads to Butte tonight to face the Cobras, the puck drops at 7:30pm, you can catch it live at Buffalo Wild Wings-Helena.
Helena’s next home games are Friday, December 2nd, and Saturday, December 3rd against the Gillette Wild. Gillette is currently in the top spot of the Frontier Division, with Helena following closely behind.
