The Helena Bighorns defeated the Yellowstone Quake with back to back wins on home ice.
Game 1 was a 10-1 victory for the Bighorns. Goals in the first period were scored by Sam Feamster (assisted by Corbin Skinner and Tylor Greene), Gage Bowerman (assisted by Gavyn Galloway and Adam Harvey), Tylor Greene (assisted by Sam Feamster and Liam Bland), Sam Feamster (assisted by Liam Bland and Tylor Greene), and Harlan Wojtusik (assisted by Erik Gibboney and Logan Matheny). Second period goals were scored by Taber Gutschick (assisted by Sam Feamster), Tylor Greene (assisted by Taber Gutschick and Jonny Peterson), and Adam Harvey (assisted by Jonny Peterson and Harlan Wojtusik). The third period goals were scored by Sam Feamster, giving him the hat trick of the night (assisted by Corbin Skinner and Wyatt Barton), and Erik Gibboney, unassisted.
Game 2 was a close battle between the Bighorns and Quake, ending the game with a 6-4 victory for the Bighorns. Goals scored in the first period were by Adam Harvey (assisted by Garrett Bogan), Sam Feamster (assisted by Harlan Wojtusik and Adam Harvey), and Liam Bland, unassisted. The second period goal was scored by Erik Gibboney and assisted by Garrett Bogan and Adam Harvey. The third period goals were scored by Liam Bland (assisted by Taber Gutschick and Sam Feamster), and Ty Bloom (assisted by Gavyn Galloway).
Our next games against the Great Falls Americans have been moved to Helena, both Friday, October 8th, and Saturday, October 9th. Doors open at 6:00pm, puck drops at 7:05pm for both games. Season tickets holders will be able to use their passes for both games, general admission tickets are for sale online and at the door.
