The Butte Irish were no match for the Helena Bighorns this past weekend, and Helena took both weekend wins.
Friday’s game was held in Butte, and the Bighorns went back to Helena with a 3-1 win. Helena hosted Butte at home on Saturday, and held their annual Teddy Bear Toss night. Once Helena scored their first goal, the sold out crowd at Steed Arena filled the ice with teddy bears, and all teddy bear and toy donations went directly to Toys For Tots. Helena ended the game with a 6-3 win.
