The Helena Bighorns held strong and came out with two more wins this weekend, defeating the Yellowstone Quake both Friday and Saturday night.
Dylan Romanow took the net for the Bighorns on Friday night, taking 19 shots and making 17 saves, resulting in a 6-2 win for the Bighorns. Goals were scored by Tyler Bloom (Harlan Wojtusik), Erik Gibboney (Wyatt Barton, Adam Harvey), Adam Harvey (Jonny Peterson, Taber Gutschick), Corbin Skinner (Adam Harvey), and Sam Feamster with the last two goals (Andrew Deskin, Garrett Bogan, Taber Gutschick, Jonny Peterson).
Saturday’s game had Erik Buchholz between the pipes for the Bighorns. The Bighorns secured another win with a 5-1 victory. Buchholz took 22 shots and made 21 saves, goals were scored by Harlan Wojtusik (Tyler Bloom, Andrew MacCallum), Sam Feamster (Erik Gibboney, Taber Gutschick), Corbin Skinner (Tyler Alldredge, Andrew Deskin), Jonny Peterson (Tyler Bloom, Wyatt Barton), and Sam Feamster (Erik Gibboney, Adam Harvey).
The Bighorns play their next two games on home ice, against the Sheridan Hawks, On Friday, December 3rd and Saturday December 4th. Doors open both nights at 6:00pm, puck drops both nights at 7:05pm.
