The Bighorn’s first game of the season started off with a road trip to Great Falls. Although this game was on the Americans home turf, the Bighorns were able to pull out a big 8-3 victory. Goals for the Bighorns were scored by Chase Berg (Bryer Lang, Austin Uecker), Caden Feinstein (Blake Chapman, Tyler Parsons), Clint Isakson (unassisted), Bryer Lang (Austin Uecker, Joe Voix), Clint Isakson (G’Bari Mayers, Fischer Nicolet), Austin Uecker (Cal Kellenberg), Jeffrey Hershberger (Tyler Parsons), and Ty Schell (Joe Voix). John Nanos, one of the Bighorns new goalies this season, saved a total of 31 of the 34 shots on his net.
Helena will travel to Butte on Saturday, September 6th for a game against the Irish at 7:30pm.
