The Bighorns had no problem keeping their winning streak this past weekend, defeating the Bozeman Icedogs and the Butte Cobras.
Friday’s game was at home against the Bozeman Icedogs ending in a 6-2 win for the Bighorns. Bighorns goalie Aiden Wright had 40 saves out of 42 shots. Goals for the Bighorns were scored by Tylor Greene (Adam Harvey, Branwen Pollett), Nick Cofer (Branwen Pollett, Tyler Alldredge), Tyler Alldredge (Branwen Pollett, Nick Cofer), Tyler Bloom (Tylor Greene, Taber Gutschick), Gavyn Galloway (Erik Gibboney), and Tyler Bloom (Liam Bland, Tylor Greene).
Saturday’s game was in Butte against the Butte Cobras, ending in a 5-2 win for the Bighorns. Eric Buchholz held the net for the Bighorns, saving 29 of the 31 shots. Tylor Greene got the first point on the board for the Bighorns, and Harlan Wojtusik earned a well deserved hat trick, with assists by Erik Gibboney, Adam Harvey, Liam Bland, and Tylor Greene. The last goal was scored by Corbin Skinner, assisted by Jonny Peterson.
