The Badlands season has come to an end, and Helena will move onto round two of the playoffs.
Last night’s game at Steed Arena had the Bighorns celebrating a 7-2 victory to an almost sold-out crowd. Helena goals were scored by Marcus Fritel (Austin Tyler), Marcus Fritel (Ty Schell, Marcus Ray), Trey Pareja (Owen Gruener), Austin Tyler (Finn Theriault, Hunter Coulombe), Marcus Fritel (Kelton Chadwick, Austin Tyler), Trey Pareja (Ty Schell, Colin Becker), and Warren Ryser (Maddux Hale, Austin Uecker). Bighorn’s goalie Branson Appelman stopped 32 shots on his net.
Helena will play the winner of the Great Falls and Sheridan series for round two of playoffs.
