A Sunday afternoon game in the Helena Ice arena still brought a crowd of over 1500 fans.
The Helena Bighorns faced the Great Falls Americans in their last regular season game, ending it win a 7-2 win, making them the regular season Frontier Division Champions of the 2021/2022 season.
Gabe Swanson stood in net for the Bighorns, saving 35 out of the 37 shots on net. Goals by the Bighorns were scored by Nick Cofer (TJ Norris, Ian Vanelli), Gavyn Galloway (Harlan Wojtusik, Logan Matheny), TJ Norris (Jonny Peterson, Nick Cofer), Liam Bland (Tylor Greene, Jonny Peterson), Jonny Peterson (Harlan Wojtusik, Gavyn Galloway), Harlan Wojtusik (Jonny Peterson, Tylor Greene), and TJ Norris (Erik Gibboney, Logan Matheny).
The Bighorns will rest and prepare this week for playoffs starting the second week of March. Once dates and locations of games are confirmed, that will be announced and tickets for the home games will go on sale online, at Play It Again Sports, and at the door before gametime.
