The Helena Bighorns are a force to be reckoned with, and are not slowing down when it comes to wins so far this season. They are leading the league with 12 points, after ending the weekend with two more victories against the Sheridan Hawks.
Both games were home games for the Bighorns, with over 1,000 fans each night.
Friday’s game ended in a 7-3 win for the Horns. Jesse Schindel stood in net and saved 19 of the 22 shots against him. Goals for Helena were scored by Harlan Wojtusik (Logan Matheny), Andrew Deskin (Dylan Cunningham, TJ Norris), Tyler Bloom (Gavyn Lund, Camden Cunningham), Lyndon Orr (unassisted), Edvin Astrom (Jesse Schindel), Camden Cunningham (Braden Cunningham, Gavyn Lund), and Camden Cunningham (Tyler Bloom, Dylan Cunningham).
Saturday’s game was a shutout victory for Helena goaltender Gabe Swanson, and his 2nd of the season. Goals for Helena were scored by Harlan Wojtusik (Lyndon Orr, Gavyn Lund), Jack Walters (Tyler Alldredge, Padraic Whited), Tyler Bloom (Camden Cunningham), Lyndon Orr (Harlan Wojtusik, Darby McCarthy), Harlan Wojtusik (Garrett Bogan, Owen Ramsay), Andrew Deskin (TJ Norris, Garrett Bogan), and Tyler Bloom (Braden Cunningham, Edvin Astrom).
