The Helena Bighorns didn’t end Friday evening the way they planned, with a 3-2 loss to the Great Falls Americans. Gabe Swanson saved 26 of the 29 shots, and goals for the Bighorns were scored by Sam Feamster (Dylan Cunningham), and Taber Gutschick (Adam Harvey, Erik Gibboney).
Saturday’s home ice advantage seemed to play in Helena’s favor, getting them a 3-0 win against Great Falls. Eric Buchholz ended the game with shutout and 29 saves. Goals for the Bighorns were scored by Tylor Greene (Adam Harvey, Taber Gutschick), TJ Norris (Logan Matheny, Andrew Deskin), and Tyler Alldredge (Trace Taranto, Branwen Pollett).
The Bighorns head to Gillette next weekend to face the Gillette Wild. Their next home game is Friday, February 11th against the Bozeman Icedogs.
