The Bighorns celebrated their 2nd win of the weekend, beating the Butte Irish 5-3 last night at Steed Arena.
Helena’s goals were scored by Colin Becker (Trey Pareja), Jeffrey Hershberger (Hunter Coulombe), Finn Theriault (Austin Uecker, Jason Hammett), Cam Young (Caden Feinstein, Colin Becker), and Finn Theriault (Austin Uecker, Jason Hammett). Tyler Miller and Branson Appelman shared Helena’s net, with Miller stopping 4 out of 7 shots, and Appelman stopping all 13 shots on him.
Helena will travel to Butte next weekend, facing the Irish on Friday, January 31st, and will be off to Great Falls to take on the Americans Saturday, February 1st. Helena’s next home games will be against the Gillette Wild on Friday, February 7th and Saturday, February 8th.
