Bighorns’ forward Ben Henne scored the evening’s first goal five minutes into the game. Teammate Beau Ricketts opened the lead to 2 with a goal nine minutes later while goalie Trey Flesch was only called on to stop four shots on goal. Danny Fazio came up with the only goal of the second period thirteen minutes in. 

The Bighorns blew the game wide open by racking up three more goals in the third period. Hagen Nemzek quickly scored two goals just thirty-two seconds apart. Beau Ricketts earned his second goal of the evening with just eighty-eight seconds left in the game. Goalie Trey Flesch stopped all sixteen shots on goal he faced over the course of the evening to give the Bighorns a final score of 6-0.

The Bighorns played their final two regular season games next weekend. They will be on the road Friday night, playing the Maulers in Missoula in the game that will decide who will take first place in the AWHL and determine the play-off schedule.
