Petruzzelli currently plays for the Brooks Bandits of the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He currently leads the team in goals (15) and is second in overall points (26).

Petruzzelli appeared in 5 games for the Bighorns in 2009-2010, where he captured 5 points. In his full season with the Big Blue, “Petro” amassed 101 regular season points on 46 goals and 55 assists. He was also one of the top performers in the playoffs and one of leaders in Helena’s 2011 National Junior A Championship. He was named the top rookie in the league for his efforts.

“Anthony is a talented young man, with tremendous college upside,” remarked Butters. “More importantly, he is a quality young man. We wish him (Petruzzelli) much success and exude great pride in having him attend a top notch D-1 school.”

The Bighorns next home game is this Friday as the play host to the upstart Bozeman Ice Dogs.
