The Helena Bighorns have added yet two more new faces to the team. The 5-foot-9 center Theodore (Theo) Campe of San Diego, CA joins the Bighorns from the Arizona Redhawks. Campe began his junior career in 2008 when he was signed by the San Diego Gulls. No stranger to the NORPAC, he spent the 2009-2010 season with the Eugene Generals. Campe began the 2011-2012 season with the Arizona Redhawks in the Western States Hockey League where he played 25 games with the team. While with the Redhawks, Campe lead his team in most points, earning 19 goals and 17 assists. Campe has also received a NCAA Division 3 offer due to his excellent juniors career. Campe made a quick impact with the Bighorns during his first game with the team. He earned his first point Friday night on an assist against the Missoula Maulers. Fans can expect many great things from the newest player to wear the #25.

The Bighorns second newest member also joins the team from the Arizona Redhawks. Devin Smith, a 6-foot tall defenseman from Rapid City, SD is also an impact player. In the 25 games Smith played at the beginning of the season, he had 4 goals and 17 assists. This gave him the fourth highest number of points on the team and made him the only defenseman in the top ten. While with the Redhawks, Smith also received a NCAA Division 3 offer. The Bighorns look to Smith to bring an aggressive defense to the team.

Fans can watch these players and the rest of the team when they come home for a two game homestand on January 20th and 21st. For more information or to purchase tickets, please visit our website, or call (406) 457-2817.
