The Bighorns crushed the Icedogs 4-1

The Helena Bighorns' offense had a big night, peppering the Bozeman Icedogs with 50 shots throughout the game. The Helena Bighorns took the lead late in the first on a goal from Kaden Lindberg and never looked back.

Luc Cross delivered for his team with 3 points (2 goals, 1 assist) and Kaden Lindberg did his part, adding 2 points (1 goal, 1 assist).

In the first, Cross opened the scoring for Helena with a goal at 12:31. Lindberg put in what turned out to be the game winning goal at 17:58 with helpers from his linemates, Sullivan and Cross.

In the second period, Sullivan netted a goal at 0:28 with helpers from his linemates, Lindberg and Gavrilenko.

During the third, Boje finally put Bozeman on the board with a goal at 2:38 with assists from teammates Hanley and Schumacher. Cross answered for the Bighorns with a goal at 13:41 with assists from his linemates, Gavrilenko and Niskanen.

Helena’s victory was in no doubt helped out by Battaglia’s big night as he stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced. Battaglia’s counterpart, Carlson, also had a big night, managing to stop 46 of 50, but ultimately fell short.

This win brings the Helena Bighorns’ record to (27-12-4-0).
