HORNS ALUM PETRUZZELLI WINS AJHL ROOKIE OF THE YEAR

HELENA, MT – Helena Bighorn graduate, Anthony Petruzelli was named the Alberta Junior Hockey League’s Rookie of the Year this week, Bighorn President, Mike Butters announced today.

Petruzzelli scored 23 times to go with 24 assists in capturing the award. Last season with the Bighorns, the Seattle WA native garnered the same award in NORPAC by posting an impressive 46 goals and 55 assists for 101 points.

“It is a great accomplishment for Anthony to be recognized by the AJHL for his efforts,” said Bighorns Head Coach, Scott Cunningham. “Petro’s hard work and commitment to the game will take him far in the game.”
